Even if the situation changes and you learn something different, you still stand by what you said because it\u2019s how you felt at the time, ya know?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hypocrisy of the left is outstanding to me. They\u2019re condemning the violence against lawmakers as they should, yet they were noticeably silent when their own lawmakers were calling for action that some might say was violent towards their political opponents. Need a refresher? This is why people often say if the left didn\u2019t have hypocrisy, they wouldn\u2019t have a position at all. Don\u2019t get me wrong, JD Vance is the same way. While he didn\u2019t call for violence, he called Trump the new Hitler, and now he acts like they\u2019re best friends? You\u2019re supposed to stand by your statements. I mean, if you say it, own it. You\u2019re free to change your mind or beliefs, but don\u2019t act like it never happened. That\u2019s just some punk stuff.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/jd-vance-once-compared-trump-hitler-now-they-are-running-mates-2024-07-15\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here is JD Vance statement on Trump before being picked as his VP.<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe I\u2019m just too old school if I say it. I stand by it, good, bad, or ugly. Feelings can change, but in the moment, I meant every word of what I said.
