Several years ago now, I believe around five or six, I burned the inside of my throat pretty severely, causing some intense scarring. I still have my tonsils, and because of the job I’ve had most of my life, my tonsils flare up more than most. Hell, most people have theirs removed when they’re young; however, I am the type of person that if I’m born with it, I will die with it.

So I’ve been traveling and dealing with some radio work and talking with owners who are selling and whatnot. I now have a serious sinus infection and on top of that I now have a pretty serious case of laryngitis. For a guy that talks for a living who all of a sudden can’t talk, it’s pretty frustrating when I can’t do what I love. I also have my health to think about, but I’ve got a job to do, ya know?

Now here we are. I have been dealing with this for a week and just now got some ability to talk. Not for a long time, but it’s progress. Being able to talk is like being born again. I’m hoping I can get back to my show tomorrow but I also don’t want to push it. My life is nothing if not adventurous as you just never know what the hell will happen.
