I have been working in radio on and off for the better half of the last twenty-five years. I have always loved radio, but there are times it hasn’t always loved me. People that know how the radio business is will understand that better than most. I have worked the last six years to buy my own stations, and while I have accomplished that, I am still looking to take on more.

I have worked to bring my show back, and now I have a good opportunity to bring my show and its craziness to a new market. This means moving my family to another city, something I told them we wouldn’t do again after the last time radio fell out of love with me, which moved us back to my hometown of Birmingham.

Now I have been podcasting and doing my radio show in the mornings, but because of my ownership, I’m often too busy to do my shows or podcasts. However, I’m getting better. Just as things started to get back on track, my Instagram and Facebook were caught up in apparently a major issue at Meta that they don’t care about, and my accounts were banned. I have new accounts, but from what I’ve read, this may not last either. So now all this, plus some great opportunities being presented to me, has me trying to figure out what to do next.

So now we make the decision to either jump full in or we wait and see. What do y’all think I will do?
