Seems like I’m always updating this blog with a “where have I been” post. The simplest answer is I’ve been working. I’ve been working to fix the damage caused by the last outing of our show and the purchases of radio stations. I’ve been working and doing things to set my family up while also perusing some personal goals and dreams. I didn’t really leave radio I did shift my focus. I’m a firm believer when something feels too forced it’s not meant to be and my show (Nick B in the Morning) began to feel that way towards the end. We had a good crew but some were more present than others and in radio that can’t be the case.

I took out a sizable loan for the sole purpose of purchasing radio stations and growing my show then it all went to shit because one person wasn’t honest with us. One person messed all the plans up. I’m not blaming them as I’d never blame someone who is dealing with their own demons or issues or whatever you want to call it but I am upset that they didn’t feel they could tell me the truth. If I’m being honest they hurt. I go more into this on my podcast and dive a little deeper into what actually happened.

Bottom line reputation in radio is everything and because of other people’s actions my reputation was harmed. Friendships I forged throughout my career and the respect I had worked so hard for was damaged in some cases beyond repair. I don’t like to sound like I’m making excuses because I don’t do that but I have always been open and honest with my listeners and they won’t stop. We put a lot of money into our company and what we were working towards and it was all taken away due to something out of my control. Now I am back building from scratch and more determined than ever to reach the goals and objectives we had last year.

We are planning to come back May 19, 2025 the show will be “The Nick B. Show” once again with the goal of creating a syndicated show that can air at any point of the day. We’ve rebuilt our studio and upgraded a lot of what was needed. I still have radio stations that I am responsible for as well as other projects and things I am actively working on. I’m not going to stop anytime soon. Bumps and roadblocks will happen but I am more determined than ever to show the world what and who I am and what I am made of.
