Music to Check Out

One of my passions is music and supporting the independent artists out there. I’ve always made it a point to showcase as many of them as I can and thanks to social media sites like TikTok and Instagram I come across a lot. Here are some that I recommend you check out.

Falling Short- Sleepsick

Sleepsick is a band that has been making my some noise and is said to be working with some labels. Look for more from them soon. They’re based out of Oregon. To me they have a Pierce the Veil kind of vibe and I’m digging this song which came out in January of 2024.

The Break – Sean Michael Kaye

Based out of North Carolina and have an early Creed vibe to me. This song is an upbeat rock song dealing with an ex. Absolutely killer track can’t wait to hear more from this artist.

Guilty As Sin – Chris Housman

This is a country anthem. Much of Chris’s music deals with homosexual themes but that shouldn’t stop you from listening to this song or any of his music but he certainly pushes the envelope on gay and country music. Absolutely love his sound definitely has a deep country sound. Based out of Kansas.

I’d Rather Overdose – honestav

This emotionally charged song from HonestAV dealing with a loved one dying from drugs which I’m sure we can all relate to. Hailing from Springfield Missouri this is an emotionally charged song I love.

People Pleaser Anthem – Lø Spirit

While signed to Misfit Radio and having had some charting success Lø Spirit has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. His latest release is an anthem all the “yes” people can certainly get behind. Expect more from this New Orleans artist in the future.
