I couldn’t tell you anything about the fighter that made the comment after he won. I don’t follow UFC enough to really give a full opinion on it, but I do know decorum pretty well, and as I said on my show, The Nick B. Show, June 15, 2026, I hold the office of the President with a high regard, even if I sometimes don’t show it. The comments about Michelle Obama were unnecessary, and it painted the already insane event in a negative manner.
I’m not saying this to defend Trump or the Trump Administration. I think this administration is the first to sell the American people out in my lifetime, and that’s saying something considering the history of presidents I’ve lived through. Reagan definitely sold us out, and it was like Trump said, “Hold my beer.” The thing I can’t understand about President Trump is why would he play into the hands of the people who are calling him everything under the sun to prove them right? It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen.
Now I know I have made jokes about Mrs. Obama mostly from that Ellen appearance, and I have entertained the conspiracy that there are certainly questions about her, like for example, I’ve never called my wife “Kevin” or some other man’s name like Barack called Michelle “Michael,” more than once I might add. So there are instances when I have pointed these things out, which certainly raise some questions if we’re being honest. However, to do so with such a large audience and at an event like that was just poor taste. It’s all fun to joke and whatnot, but at the same time, you have to act like you have some sense.
For what it’s worth, Trump didn’t seem too happy with what he said, but he hasn’t said anything about it, which makes it look like he agrees, and the Obamas aren’t best pals with Trump, so maybe he wants to leave well enough alone, but I think in that event, at that moment, that fighter, whoever the hell he is, was in the wrong and it was uncalled for. I know to some it might seem to be hypocritical, but I am a work in progress. Now, if he stands by what he says, okay, because if you say it, stand by it; otherwise, say nothing. I stand by what I said. I mean no ill will by it, but at the same time, I would never disrespect the former First Lady on or at the White House; that just was the wrong time and definitely the wrong place.
I digress…
