I’m seriously considering getting either a Hummer EV Truck or a Silverado EV RST. I’m particularly interested in their mid-gate feature, which I’ve loved since it first appeared in the Avalanche SUV. Although I’ve expressed my dislike for EVs and belief that they’re a con, these two vehicles have intrigued me, and I spent the entire weekend researching them.
I have several reasons as to why I want them, but one of them is I have a new review show, and I’d love to give an unbiased opinion on them and give them a real-world driving test. It will be an exciting test, but I am looking forward to it. The thing that is a significant turn-off for these vehicles besides their price and the fact it’s a con is they’re freaking heavy! The Hummer is over 4 tons, limiting many of the basic roads it can go on. Interstates are good, but small backroads and bridges aren’t. This is a big issue.
So though I still stand by my feelings on EV I’m looking forward to owning one or possibly two in the very near future stay tuned! I’ll talk more about this on Nick B. in the Morning Tuesday, May 21, 2024 tune in 7a central time.
